OTT SOLAR was founded by David, a fully qualified electrician with over 20 years’ experience across residential, commercial, and renewable energy projects.

After seeing too many rushed installs, sales‑driven quotes, and poor‑quality systems, David created OTT SOLAR with one mission: — with integrity, premium hardware, and clean, reliable installs that last.

Central Otago is one of the best regions in New Zealand for solar, but also one of the harshest. Systems here must handle:
